Dark Theme Variant | November 2024
The navigation of your stories can now be switched to a dark mode. Colors and logos can be configured separately from the light mode – perfect for atmospheric or visually minimalist projects.
New Content Element: Info Table | January 2025
The new info table presents terms and corresponding explanations in two columns – for example, ingredients & quantities, roles & names, or titles & sources. Column widths adjust automatically but can also be customized. Ideal for compact factual content with improved readability.
New Positioning: Alongside the Text | January 2025
The new option called "Alongside" allows content elements like images, videos, or quotes to appear next to shorter paragraphs in a relaxed layout. Unlike the sticky variant, they scroll along with the text – perfect for editorials, interviews, or portraits.
Full Width for Smartphones | January 2025
Individual content elements like images, audio players, or galleries can now be displayed across the full width of smartphone screens – independent of desktop layout settings. This ensures media appears bold and engaging even on small displays.
New Content Element: Teaser List | January 2025
The new teaser list replaces the previous element for external links. It allows for flexible layouts, different text and image placements, optional buttons – and for the first time also links to chapters and sections within a story. Non-linked teasers are also possible.
Audio Notice Text | January 2025
The automatically generated label in the audio element can now be customized. This allows you to specify what’s being heard – e.g. interviews, ambient sounds, music, or speech – and provide more helpful context.
Enhanced Image Gallery | April 2025
The gallery element has been expanded with two features: 1. the new progress bars optionally indicate where the user is currently located. And 2. adjacent images can now be optionally hidden. This focuses on the current image and prevents image captions of the next image from being visible in the cut-off.
Additional Layout Options for Teaser Lists | April 2025
The tiles of the teaser list can now also be used horizontally - with text next to the image. In addition, texts can now optionally be placed on the image. Perfect for compact overviews or modular link collections.
Style Options for Inline Images | July 2025
The inline image element now supports predefined cutouts: landscape, square, portrait, or circle – complemented by individually adjustable roundings. Ideal for speaker overviews, icons, or graphics with a consistent style.
Separate Aspect Ratios for 360° Images | July 2025
360° images can now have different aspect ratios for desktop and mobile. This improves visual presentation on all devices – whether in portrait or landscape mode.
Contain Mode for Teaser Thumbnails | July 2025
A new display behavior for thumbnails: In contain mode, images are shown in full without cropping. Useful for logos, icons, or visuals with important edge details.
Horizontal Scroll Mode for Teaser Lists | July 2025
Teaser lists can now appear as horizontal carousels. Ideal for series, thematic hubs, or tile-based overviews – with precise control of tile size and scroll behavior.
Improved File Management | August 2024
Files can now be filtered by name, sorted alphabetically or by latest upload, and renamed directly in the file settings.
